Received November 28, 8.35 a.m. LONDON, November 27. The officers who are working to prevent the destruction of the Glamorgan collieries were heavily stoned during a temporary relaxation of the police vigil.

Received November »28, 8.35 a.m. LONDON, November 27. Mr T. K. Askwith presided at a conference of representatives of the boilermakers, at which a proposal was formulated to submit to the masters.
SEQUEL TO PARIS STRIKE,
Received November 28, 8.35 a.m. PARIS, November 27. As a sequel to the railway strike four men have been sentenced at Rouen for murdering a blackleg, one being seiitenced to death and the others to from eight to fifteen years' penal servitude.
