ENGINE-DRIVERS' ASSOCIATION.
WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Council of the Nov.- Zealand Locomotive Engine-drivers', Firemen and Cleaners' Association, wno protested vigorously against Clauses 7, 8 and 10 of the Railway Bill (No. 2), and the injustice of making alterations in the conditions of railway workers without consulting them in any way, has received information that their protests are to receive favourable consideration. The Association endorsed the principle of fixed agents between the Minister and worker which shall bo binding on all oarties.
