CARTERTON.
Ibe public swimming baths funds at the Bank of New South Wales has reached £B2 ]Bs. The local branch of the Wairarapa Egg Circle this morning sends close on 200 dozen eggs to the Wellington market. Mr F. J. Brock, who has for some time past - been custodian of the Settlers' Club here, is leaving for Melbourne. Prior to leaving the Club he was the recipient of a handsome* case of military hairbrushes, the presentation being made by Mr W. Howard Booth, on behalf of the members.
