On Saturday afternoon the holders of the Norton Feathers—Messrs Sayers, Speer, Mills and Kanaom, skip —were defeated by a team consisting of Messrs Walsh, Bisset. Tosswiil, and Hewat. At the commencement of the game it looked as if the holdera would retain their laurels, as they scored on the first five heads, but by steady day the challengers gradually made up the gap, and eventually won by four points. The Masterton Club have signified their intention of sending a quartette to contest the Dixon Cup on Saturday next.
