THE FERRY SERVICE.

DUNEDIN, Last Night. After December Ist the Mararoa will wait at Lvttelton on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays for the arrival of the second express from the South. The alteration is being tried in the interests of the travelling public. It will he continued till the end of January. There will thus be a daily through connection from Invercargill, and in ordinary circumstances the Mararoa will still connect with the Napier train from Wellington, as well as the Auckland and Wan ganui train s.
