SAWMILL DESTROYED.
GKICYMOUTH, Last Night. A fire destroyed the Moana Sawmill Company's mill at one o'clock this morning. The manager's house was saved with difficulty. A large quantity of timber was destroyed. The property was owned by Mr W. Goss, of Christchurch. Messrs Church and Peat, who had the contract for cutting timber, are heavy losers. The insurance is unavailable.
