AMUSEMENTS.
THOMPSON-PAYNE PICTURES. ' The entertainment in the Foresters' Hall last evening was again well patronised. The pictorial programme to*be presented this evening reaches a high standard of excellence. The dramatic portion provides plenty of sensation, and "The Ragged Hero" and "The Incendiary Foreman" are sure to become popular favourites. The scenic subjects, including "Henley Rsgatta," "Pearl Fishing in Austraia," and "Chamois Hunting in the Alps," are interesting and educative. A beautifully coloured creation, entitled "The Golden Rose," is an enchanting fairy story. Numerous other high-grade pictures will ie shown, together with some splendid comics.
