A CROWD GETS OUT OF OROER.
BATONS FREELY USED
(Received November 7, 11 a.m.) ADELAIDE, November 7. A crowd numbering about a thousand rioted at Glcuelg on Saturday last. r lhe riot started when the police attempted to prevent a fireworks display. Two policemen wore injured. The mob were eventually dispersed by the free use of the policemen's batons. LIVELY TIME IN STREETS OF PERTH. (Received November 7, 11 a.m.) PERTH, November 7. The Dutch fleet has arrived here. Many of the me:v indulged in riotous conduct in the streets on Saturday night.
