MOUNT HOLDSWORTH.
VaNDALS AT WOKK. A correspondent signing himself "K.E.G.," writes to the Wairarapa Age, complaining that certain young men, who are we'll known in Mas. 1 ' ton, make a practice of visiting Mount Holdsworth to see what they can destroy. Beautiful shrubs have, he says, teen cut down and strewn about the place, names scribbled all over the mountain house berths smashed and mattrasses strewn about, and cooking utensils left in a disgraceful condition. The correspondent thinks that the attention of the Mountain Committee should be drawn to the matter, and that a check should fce put upon the vandalism of these senseless youth?.
