FROZEN MEAT FROM VENEZUELA.

Those engaged in the frozen "meat trade in New Zealand will be interested to learn that a new country has just entered into the ■ meat-export trade, a consignment of frozen beef having recently been shipped from Venezuela to Liverpool. This shipment, which, it is stated, consists of 2000 carcases of cattle, was due to arrive about the end of August. Inquiry is to be made by the High Commissioner of New Zealand concerning the quality and condition of the meat on arrival, and a report is to be forwarded to the Agricultural Department concerning the success of the shipment and the prospect for future shipments from that country. ■ ■ " ; . •
