CAMDEN MURDER.
CRiPPEN'S APPEAL DISMISSED.
Received This Morning, 12.35 o'clock LONDON/November 6.
Crippen, who was sentenced to death for murdering his wife, appealed against the conviction on the ground that the identity of the corpse was not established, and that the Crown's rebutting evidence! was wrongly admitted. Mr Tobin explained that the return of his brief was a mistake, through a misunderstanding. After counsel had spoken for four and a-half hours, the appeal was dismissed in ten minutes.
