The annual meeting of the Tinui Cricket Club was held last Saturday evening. Owing to the unavoidable absence of the secretary, Mr T. Schofield, the appointment of officers was held over till next meeting. Mr D. Bennett promised a medal to the highest batting average, the condition { eing that not less than three matches must be played by the winner. A very wel com 3 rain fell to clay, and the dry hill willbe greatly benefited.
