At the New York Aviation Meeting, Drexel, of America, made an American altitude record of 7105 ft.

It is probable that the record will be disputed, as Drexel had not entered for the competition.

A GUIDE TO AVIATORS

The Daily Mail's Paris correspondent states that for the benefit of aviators, whitewashed figures, fifty feet square, the first figure showing the distance north or south, and the second east or west of the Paris meridian, are being erected at every village around Paris.
