GOLF.
MASTERTON v. GREYTOWN. A match between the Master ton and Greytown Golf Clubs was played on the Greytown links on Thursday afternoon, and resulted in a win for Masterton by six games to four. The weather was delightful, and the visitors were hospitably entertained. At the conclusion of the match, hearty cheers were exchanged by the members of the respective Clubs. Following were the scores: —C. Perry beat W. J. Feast 1 up, D. Caselberg beat W. A. Tate 2 up, E. B. Waddington beat H. Halse 1 up, D. Donald lost to A. Balfour 4 and 3, H. H. Pavitt lost to A. L. Webster 1 down, J. Caselberg lost to T. Hyman 6 and 5, N. H. James beat J. Ireland 3 and 2, B. Francis beat J. McMaster 6 and 5, G. H. Collie lost to A. Feast 2 down, C. A. Foulsen beat W. Stratford 2 and 1.
