THE EDUCATION QUESTION. (Rec. Last Night, 9.55 o'clock.) PRETORIA, October 20. General Hortzog, Minister for Education in the Union Cabinet, declared that the education law was not in accordance with Article 137 of the Constitution. The campaign against the compulsory teaching of the Dutch language was narrowminded. The speech is regarded as a coun-ter-blast to the success of the separate school movement.
