WELLMAN'S ATTEMPT FAILS. Received October 19, 11.45 o'clock. LONDON, October 18. Mr Weliman and party, who were attempting to cross the AtlantiQ an airship, were wrecned 4?0 jnlles from'land. The steamer the crew, Mr Weliman abandoned the balr loon east of Cape Hatteras, half way to Bermuda.
