MONEY MISSING.
AUCKLAND, Last Night, Yesterday morning a, sum of £2OO was sent by mail, in notes, to pay the wages of the men employed in the Mountain King and Handswortli mines of Kuatunu. News was received to-day to the effect that the. money was missing, and wires have been despatched to the manager for further particulars. It is understood that the numbers of the notes were taken, and the letters duly registered.
