THE CRIPPEN TRIAL.
A RUSH FOR SEATS. Received Last Night, 11.10 o'clock. LONDON, October 18. There are four thousand applications for 100 seats at the Crippen trial, which opens to-day. A system of half-day tickets has been inaugurated. * Lord Alvestone, Lord Chief Justice of England, will hear the case. Mr R. D. Muir leads for the Crown, Mr A. A. Tobin K.C, represents Crippen, and Mr F. E. Smith, M.P., K.C, appears for Miss Le Neve.
