MANGAMAIRE.
On Thursday night it blew a hurricane. Mr P. G. Nielsen and four children were milking their cows, when the roof of the cowshed was blown off". The children narrowly escaped injury. A ganger on the railway, Mr Monaghan, went to their assistance and conveyed them to a place of safety. Great sympathy is felt for Mr . Nielsen, who loses about £IOO by damage from the storm. He was just about to instal milking machines in the shed, the engine being on the.ground.
