In the] House of Representatives, yesterday, the Animals Protection Bill was read a third time and passed. The Crimes Bill was re-committed, to consider Clause 4, relating to the right to appeal.
A number of amendments to the Native Townships Bill were intro- I duced by Governor's Message. The Bill was re-committed, and various other amendments made, and after considerable discussion it,was read a third time and passed. The Crimes Bill, after being amended, was read a third time and passed. I The Stone Quarries Bill was being discussed when the Telegraph Office closed.
