Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report at their Palmerston North sale on Tnursday, tha 6th inst., a good entry of sheep met with bri3k competition, and sold at the following quotations:—A medium yarding of cattle, principally female stock, ateo sold readily. Ewe hoggets, 14s 6fl to 16s 4d; wether hoggets, 13s 8d to 14s mixed hoggets, 14s 4d; small hoggets, 10s Id; forward ewe?, 9a 7d; ewes and lambs, 16s 6d to 20s 7d; springing cows, £5 10s to £7 10s; 3 year steers, £5 10a; 18 months steers and heifers, £3 15s;*cows abd calves, £3 15s to £4; forward cows, £3 to £3 Bs. ■'- /
