MASTERTON HOMING CLUB.
RACE PROM WELLINGTON. The Masterton Homing Pigeon Club flaw a race from Wellington yesterday, when 75 bird 3 competed. The weather was fine, and a good velocity was recorded, The results are:—Mr W. Boat's Beettnall, 66 minutes, 1458 yards per minute, 1; Mr A. Miller's Battleaxe, 66£ minutes, 1453 yards per minute, 2; Mr W. Drake's Skysail,66£ minutes, 1452J yards per minute, 3. Messrs Wilton, Dixon, Dowling, Wickens, Rosson, Winchester, S, Hoar, Diggins, Person, Valler, Billington, and Gourlay also "clocked in" in thia ord#r. mmmm^^mmmmmmmm r. J
