The Rev. D. Gordon, who has ministered to the people of Marton for a period of 25 years, is abotit to retire from active duties.

The interment of the (ate Mr Nun Wilton took plnce yesterday morning at Knrori, the service at the graveside bein*r conducted by ilev. \V Shirer. Mr Thomas WiUon. or Masterton, (brother 'of the deceased) and Messrs Jesse, Albert, Arthur, David, Henry.-and Leonard Wilton (s-ms) were chief mourners, while four of the late gentleman's grandsons acted as pall-bearers. A large number of friends and relations followed the cortege.
