WAIRARAPA CALEDONIAN SOCIETY.

ANNUAL MEETING. The thirty-fourth annual meeting of the Wairarapa Caledoi.ian Society was held in the Dominion Hall on Saturday last, There was a good attendance, Mr E. E. Charr.berla'n occupying the chair. The annual report and balancesheet were read and adopted. On the motion of Mr J. H. Pauling, seconded by Mr W. McKenzie, it was decided tbat the r.utnfaer of directors be reduced to fifteen, five to

form a quorum. Th election cf officers resulted as follows—President, Mr A. McLeod; vice-presidents, Messrs J. B. Mc» Kerzie, and J, H. Pauling; treasurer, Mr G. R. Sykes; auditor, Mr R. Brown; director?, Messrs R. "ameror, E. E. Chambeilain, R. Gray, G. Heron, T. P. Lett, G. McHattie, J. McHattie, D. McLachlan, Jas. Miller, A. Mutrie, W. Sellar, G. Stewart, A. Turner, E, fl. Waddington, T. Wyeth; hou. piper, Mr R. McKay; programme committee, Messrs McLeod, J. Pauling, J. B. McKaczie, G. R. Sykes, W. Sellar, E. H. Waddington, T. Wyeth.

The secretary was instructed to ascertain the Borough Council's terras for the use of the Park on January 2nd, 1913, and Messrs A. McLeod, J. B. McKenzie, and G. R. Sykes were appointed a deputation to wait on the Council in support of the application.
