SEDITION IN INDIA.
THE TRIAL OF SAVARKAR.

CALCUTTA, September 29. The trial of Savarkaf, the Indian student deported from London on a charge of sedition, is proceeding. The, 'Advocate-General, in his opening speech, -stated that Savarkar, in September, 1908, had printed in London a manual dealing with the manufacture of bombs. Copies of this manual, and of other publications, were posted to various parts of India.
