BOILERMAKERS' CONFERI ENCE.
: Received Last Wight, 5.5 o'clock. LONDON, September 24. £The Boilermakers' Conference at Edinburgh has been adjourned to a date not fixed. The Chronicle states that, the outlook fcr shipbuilding is gloomy.'
The men's leaders are surprised at the employers'* uncumpiomising attitude respecting the outlook. Its withdrawal is declared to be an indispensible preliminary to allaying irritation before the ballot regarding guaranteea is taken.
