M'Kenzie, formerly em- , ployed in the State Fire Office, pleaded guilty" to-day to charges of misappropriation involving about £2O. He was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence. The manager of the branch sta'ed that M'Kenzie's defalcations were known to exceed £6O. and accused had admitted they reached about £BO. The sum of £BO had been refunded the [department.
