FIRST, STATUE TO HIS;HONOUR. h a^SiT : ; . LONDON* September. 13. ,' Mr Derwent Wood, the sculptor, has been commissioned to execute the first statue erected in the Empire in honour of General Wolfe. The statue will consist of a bronze figure 93in. in .height. It is to he erected at Westerham, Kent, next January.
