NEW ZEALAND CHAMPIONSHIP MEETING. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHRISTCHUKCH, Last Night. The Golf Championship meeting was concluded yesterday. In the final for the LusK beat Wood on the last hole by 2 up. Ia the final jirofesaional match, J. M. Herd, Napier, easily defeated J. A. Clements, Christchurch 6 up and 5 to play. MASTERTON CLUB. The first round of the Club Championship was played on Saturday af ternoon, resulting as follows: 1 F. B. Eicoate beat A. Jts. Lawrence 1 up at the nineteenth hole. W. H. liobieson beat C. Perry, 5 up and 4tu play/ B. Booth beat F. L. Winter, 4 up and 2 to play. W. fl. Booth beat A. K Sclanders, 1 up at the nineteenth hole. Nixt Saturday in the final round F. H. Eicoate plays W. H. Rishworth arid B. Booth plays W. H. Booth.
