SENATOR LORIMER.
ROOSEVELI REFUSES HIS COMPANY. Received Last Night, 8.40 o'clock. NEW YORK,'.September 9. A political j sensation has betn caused by the rafusal of ex-President Roosevelt to sit at a banquet with Senator Lorimer, who is involved in "graft'' allegations. At the instance of Mr Roosevelt, a telegram was sent cancelling Senator Lorimer's invitation. jMr Koosevelt admits the possibility of Senator Lorimer's return to public life, but warns the "corrupt corporations and politicians" not to support him.
