St. Matthew's, Church, Masterton, was the scene of a very pretty wedding yesterday, when tor 11. R. Dawson, third ; son of Mjt Jc.f.b Dawson, of Eubanni, was msmed to Misa May Chamberlain, daughter of the lata Mt »r E. and atep-daußhter ot Mr Akx. ateLecd, of cole Sireet, Master ton.. The bride, who was given away by Mr McLeod, looked very pietiy , n , a beautiful gown of cream saur, finished with a panel of real la 4 and pearl trlwmhg. Slie WOie a wreath of orarge blossom, and a handaoae. hand tmbrudcrec veil and carried a ehoycei bouquet of white hyacinths and narcissi. TLe bridesmaids were Misses Aileen Murray, Gladys Dawson, Ivy A.c- ---| Leod and Josephine Dawson. Misses Murray and Giady* Dawson were attired in violet crystalline dresses, and, Misses McLe.sd and J. Daweon wore heliotrope crystalline dresses. Instead of hats, the bridebtnaids wore wreaths of violuts. lha two elder maids carried shower bouquets, and the two younger ctooka decorated with violets aad violet ribbons Mi- lex. Dawson wastes* man, and Mr W. Dawson grsoiHsman,. The bridegroom's piteent to the bride was a magnificent gold bangle, and t«* the bridesmaids fie alau presented bangles. After the cfremony, which was performed by Rev. H. Watson, a reception was held in the Exchange Hall, at which nearly two hundr d friends of tae newly-wtdded couple attended.
