AN UPROAR.
|AT SOCIALIST CONGRESS MR KEIR HARDIE'S PROPOSAL. Received Last Evening, 5 o'clock. COPENHAGEN, September 4 An uproar was caused at the Socialist Congress by Mr Keir Hardie advocating a strike of trades producing war material whenever war was declared.
German speakers denounced the English Socialists for booting the military and naval estimates. !Vr Keir Hardie denied this,! but pro raised to conduct a campaign among the workers against militarism.
