(By Telegraph—Special Reporter.) NELSON, Last Night. The weather was fine for the third day's play, whsn the results were as ' follows : Westport 1 v, Grsy mouth 1. Wairarapa 5 v. Wellington a 0. Auckland 4 v. Taranaki 3. Hawke's Ray 2 v. Wellington A 0. Nelson 2 v, Otago 1. In the Wairarapa match on opening Wellington B attacked and Mia3 Shearer had a shot at goal. Miss Ashton then brought the ball down the field, and Miss A. O'Leary centering to Miss Gazeley, who sant a nice pass to Miss Eaathops', . thelatter finding the net. Wairai'ipi again pressed, but Mis? Shearer relieved and hit hard over tha Wellington line. Miss Gazeley brought the ball right down to touch ar,d centred to Miss Easthope, who missed a shot at goal. Later. Miss Humphries had another shot, just missing tbe net. Wairarapa continued (o attack, Miss Terry being pi\miir,ent\ while Miss A. Cam:ron and Miss Shearer showed up in the Walling ton defence. Later Miss Terry saved a snot by Miss Shearer and hit up to Mies McDonald, who sent it back. Miss Cameron then had a shot, which Miss R. Humphries saved. ■ Wairarapa rushed play to Wellington territory, and Miss Z. Humphries cen tering and following in sored Wai-
raraua's second goal. Play was asaih j taken to the Wellington 25, but the j Wellington backs cleared Prom a I free hit by Miss C. Wairarapa coatinurd ' to press and another score was narrowly averted. Half time saw Wellington still defemding. On Starts* Wellington pressed, but a good hit down the line gave Miss Z. Humphries a chance, which was nut taken advantage of. Just after Miss j Gazeley sent in a wide shot. ML-s Charlesworth was prominent in a I Wellington rush down the line, and Miss Shearer bad a shot, which Miss Muir stopped. A fine passing rush, in which Misses A. O'Leary, Aahton Gazeley, and Humphries participated, ended in the last named scoring. Later Miss Humphries beat Miss H. Cameron and missed a shot at goal. Wellington pressed, and after some play in Wairarapa circle, Miss Terry cleared in great style. Wai rarapa then took play back to the Wellington circle, and Miss Ashton centering nicely to Miss Gazeley, who shot a good goal.—Wairarapa 5, Wellington B 0.
