THE WAIHI MINE.
(By Telegraph-r-Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Last Night.
Mr Rhodes, the local director of the Waihi Mining Company, has supplied the Stock Exchange with the following cable from London:—"The j Directors authorise you to publish as follows: As the grade of ore being crushed is somewhat lower, it is anticipatedjthat the monthly returns will be less. They will probably come down to about £60,000 each before the end of the year, and an estimated average return of about £68,000 can be afterwards mainj tained." Mr Rhodes adds that the above was announced in London less than twelve hours before he received the cable. The next return is due on September 16th, and is shaping about £70,000.
