TOWN HALL PICTURES.
A large and enthusiastic audience | again attended the Town Hall Pictures last night, he pictures, which were of a very high order, ware received with unstinted applause. "Victims of Fate," a Vitagraph film, based on a recent actual occurrence in the mountains of North Carolina, is one of the best dramatics yet shown here. "Roosevelt at a Military Review" shows this popular gentleman in one of his latest visits to Paris. The balance of the programme is well up to the usual standard of pictures put on by the Town Hall management. The Beauty I Competition, which closes to-night, has caused a great deal of enthusiasm. The voting has been very close between three or four children, and to-night will disclose the winner. The following is the voting to date: —No. 51, 196 votes; No. 4, 137; No. 34, 135; No. 22, 104; No. 32, 69; No. 18 and 25, 65; No. 33, 52; No. 23, 42; No. 2, 30 votes.
