ATTACK A FARMER'S HOUSE,

Received Last Night, 9 o'clock. CALCUTTA, August 31. A hundred dacoits attacked the house of a zemindara (native occupier of land and receiver of revenue) at Sytheti Assam, and forced his daughter to disclose the whereabouts of her father's hidden money. The villagers were thrown into a state of panic, as the dacoits declared that they possessed bombs. The.raiders effected their escaps.
