BOATING FATALITY.

Received this Morning, 12.40 o'clock. MELBOURNE, August 28. •
A boating fatality occurred to-day in Hoo-on's Bay, three brothers named Ritt.Gr, aged respectively 27, 14 and,lo, being drowned.
They were fishing in a.ten foot-, dinghy, accompanied by a man named : when a stiff bretza sprang up. ' "" V They became alarmed and tiied to run fjr shelter. The spresd of canvas was too great, and the boat was driven under water, in sight of people on the pier, and floated keel up.
The four occupants scrambled, on to the bottom. A life-boat and '■> motor-boat 'h'astened to their, assistance, but the: three brothers were washed off and' drowned before Ins assistance ar j rived. i

bad way,
