<jtj. f __The local Caledonian Society, in my humble opinion, ought to furnish the first supplies to the new boiling down and freezing works. They go in annually for alleged sports and inglesides, and allow a Company like the Caledonian Entertainers to present an absolutely first-class Scottish programme, and play to a miserable house. "11l fared it then with Roderick «Dhu" "Scots wha Hae, wha ha, whahoo!" etc., etc.—l am ; etc., C.A.P.
