THOMPSON-PAYNE PICTURES.

The Foresters' Hall was well filled last night, when the usual change of programme was presented. The new series is well above the averge in quality, and the pictures are all new to Mast r rlon. The star picture is entitled "The Irish Boy/' and depicts bow an Irish lad works his way up in the world End is at last able to keep his parents in comfort for the remainder of their lives. "The Two Brothers" is a fine draina taken from Mexican life. "The Fisherman and Gei.ii" is a beautifully coloured film of the pantomime class, showing the latest adaptation of this story from the Arabian Nights. "The Comet" gives a graphic idea as to what might have happened frad tne comet struck the earth. "The Mountain Inn," and "The Wrong Road,"are dramatic subjects of high merit. "The Bay of Naples." and "Winter in Northern Sweden." are good scenic subjecs. That versatile comedian, Max Linder, appeals in two comedies which he claims the authorship "Ski-ing" and "A Difficult Task." "The Man who Won the Million," and Calino's Dinner Party," caused great laughter.
