I! | The local branch of the W.F.&A. have presented a handsome set of carvers to the local Gun Club for , competition amongst its members. The trophy is a serviceable one, and the generosity of the business that has presented it will be fully appreciated by the members. Mr E. Bassett was reelected a director, and Mr H. Knowles was elected to the vacancy on the directorate caused by the resignation of Mr W. C. Ordish. 'lhe manager, Mr M. T. West, and the secretary, Mr J. MoneritfF, were each granted fifteen guineas. The factory is to be opened on Morday next. A social and dance in aid of the ' Hinemoa Ladies" Hoekev Club \a to ! be held at Clarevil'e on Thursday. ',
