IKAROA LAND BOARD.
A sitting of tbe Ikiroa District Maori Land Board was held in the Courthouse at Masterton yesterday. The members present were Messrs J. B. Jack, Present; H. Martin Smith and Ibaia Hutana. win Mr L. A. Teutenberg, as clerk. A trasfer of land in Mairurikapca *'C" from Te Rohau Ns?arori to Wil--I'am Cameron (Mr Bearrl) was confirmed, as was also a transfer cf Pohue "A" No. 4 from Pini te Tau to Florence Maud Perry. An application for a transfer of Uhiroa, subdivisions 3 and 5, from Hariana Takaua Kingi to Elizabeth Mary Toogood (Mr Beard) waa adjourned. A lease was provisionally approved of Gethsemane No. 7b from Erueti Takana and another to James Green (Gawith and Logan). A transfer of Manaia 2a Nos. 1, 4 and 5a from Ihaia Whakamaira to James Gill (A. R. Banny) was approved subject t3 there being an increase in the amount of tbe purcbane money. Precedent consent was granted to a lease of the Tauanui Block from Natives to Meronea R. Hume (Gawith and Logan). Several other applications were also dealt with.
