Received Last Night, 9.50 o'clock. KOBE, Auguet 17. Two gunboats ara being constructed in Japan for the Chinese Navy.
The strength of the Chinese Navy in October, 1909, was as follows— Cruisers, 10, torpedo gunboats, 10; and torpedo boats U4.
