RACE AND SHOW DATES.
The Masterton Racing Club has pursued a course which will meet with the general approval of the public. It has decided to alter the dates for its autumn meeting so that they will not clash with those of the "VVairarapa A. and P. Society. The decision was not arrived at without some diffidence, for the interests of the Masterton members of the Club had to be considered, and the holding of a race meeting on Saturday does not entirely suit tlieir conveniences. However, if the experiment does not prove successful, the Club may have the opportunity next year of select- i ing another date. I
