GREYTOWN.
Much discussion is taking place in this town over the lighting question. Some people urge the erection of gasworks, whilst others maintain that electricity is the cheaper and belter light. Mr T. J. Wright, a former resident of Greytown, died at Porirua on August 12th at the age of fifty-five. The ploughing match to be held at Morison's Bush on Thursday promises to be highly successful. Numerous residents of Greytown intend going out to see the contests. Arrangements were, last night made in connection with the general mission which is to be held in St. Luke's Church. Mrs W. 0.
