AMUSEMENTS.
THOMPSON-PAYNE PICTURES.
The splendid series of pictures now being presented; at the Foresters' Hall, drew another large audience last night. "The Ramon Garcia Troupe or Acrobats" again went through their amazing performances,, per medium of the cinematograph, j "The Fence on Z Bar Ranch" was j highly appreciated as the exciting , Btory was unfolded. "Inez de Castro" showed a dramatic story of Spanish love and hate. "Match Making" is a splendid industrial picture, taken at Messrs R. Bell and Co.'s big London factory, and shows the manufacture of wooden, or safety matches, from the log till ready for the market. The making of the wax vestas proved more complicated, and the machinery used does its work in a wonderful manner. The comic subjects as usual caused great laugb, ter, especially"Rags and .Old Iron," "The Ragmante Wedding," "The False Friar," and "The Marriage Ventures of Tom and Willie," the latter - showing some fine views of notable spots in Paris. This, series will be produced for the last time this evening.
