GREAT HURRICANE.
WINDMILLS DESTROYED,
FIVE LIVES LOST,

(Received August 12, 10 a.m.) ST. PETERSBURG, August 11.
A great hurricane was experienced at Pereyaslav, near the left bank of the Dneiper River.
Thirteen windmills were raised to the ground. Five perons lost their lives.
A thunder storm accompanied the hurricane, and the ligntnmg did much damage, twenty sev\« houses being struck. The loss is estimated at forty thousand pounds sterling.
