Mr E, J. Keid, of Wellington, is at present relieving Mr H. J. Francis 3, Masterton manager for the A; |a.;P. : -Society, -who has ; gone south on a well-earned furlough. : Mr John Fuller, of" the staff of Messrs* Levitt; and; Co., 'Masterlon, leaves to-day for the Empire City, where he will take up his futire residence. Mr Fuller will continue, however, to pay periodical visits to the Wairarapa on behalf of his firm.
Mr Frank Bunny, a prominent hockey player.and a member of the Carterton senior team is at present in the Greytown Hospital in consiqnence of an injury to his leg in the Carterton-Excelsior matih recently.
Another old resident passe:! away at Hastwell on Wednesday, in the person of Mr Jas. Bray, who was for many years foreman for the Masterton Cuunty Council. Diabetes was the cause of his death. He leaves a wif i and grown-up family. Revs A. 0. Harris, Primitive Methodist, C. J. Merton, Anglican, and C. H. Olds. Methodist, have been gazetted efficiating ministers under the Marriage Act. The name of the Rev. C. Porter has been removed from the list of officiating ministers "at the request of the 'ecclesiastical head of the' Methodist Church of Australasia in New Zealand."
