MR FOSTER FRASER.
Mr Foster Fraser, who visited Australia some months back, and was th* honoured guest of ViceRoyalty and the big man o£ the land, has gone Home and told the people of th« Old Country that, although we lay claim to an earthly Paradise, we have not, an Colonials, all cultivated wings. Indeed, he has, by inference, tried to convey the impreEsiotl, that we are a declining race; that mentally and physically we are deficient; atd that we are, in reality, somewhat of a disgrace to our parentage. Now, if Mr Foster Fraser wishes to back up his statements with solid facia, let him turn up the accounts of the matches played by the "All Black" footballers when they were in England; let him visit hss own Universities and converse with some ot our young colonials; let him read the history of the Boer War; let him interview Pfofesior Rutherford; let him gain an audience with Lord Kitchener and any of our ex-Governors; let him go to the next shoot at Bisley; let him proceed to the Zambesi and ask Dick Arnat about it. And then, let him rub his eyes, wake up, and see if he has not been dreaming.
