Sir, —Having been asked by a number of enthusiasts and players whether I was tfie author of the article in your issue, ot yesterday, re Ladies' Hockey R m., I wish to state that it is not min -. nor was it inspired by me. Thid ciaulaimer does not mean that in the main I do not agree with "Interested's" remarks. I do, and I think that the selectors have shown by the team selected, their utter incapacity to select and want of knowledge of what a player should be and should do iu the various positions of the field.
