STOCK FOR ARGENTINE.
Has the Government of New Zealand done anything to assist the breeders of the Dominion to capture the Argentine market for stucl stock? If so, what? It has been demonstrated that the sheep and cattle bred in this country are n:ore adapted to the requirements of the Argentine than those procurable in any part of the world. The embargo placed upon British live stock on account of foot and mouth disease should make the opportunity for New Zealand the better. And yet we are doing practically nothing to open up a permanent and profitabl'3 I market. Will the Hon. T. Macken J zie, Minister for Agriculture, please I nots?
